Marshall!

Firstly, as a Harrisburg citizen, I am extremely excited about what is going on at Marshall Math and Science Academy (MMSA). So many special things to excite these students give them opportunities to express themselves through various disciplines.

Secondly, as a Makerspace Fellow, I have been very impressed with the leadership at MMSA. Marisol Craig and Ryan Jones seem to making their mark on that school with their enthusiasm. Them, in addition to some passionate teachers, have made for a culture of high performance. I am looking forward to help those teachers with a number of projects, including the Lexus Eco Challenge. In which, the students take a look at an environmental problem in their community and see how they can take real action to address the problem. One of the topics we will be looking at will be air pollution and renewable energy sources.

This simply looks like it will be a great year.
